I bought a new Bovis home two years ago. Initially, the service was reasonable and some defects were fixed before and early after purchase. 10 months after purchase the front door was reported to be warped and needed replacement. Getting Bovis and their subcontractor (door supplier) Birtley to inspect, approve and replace this door has taken 14 months and much effort and inconvenience for landlord, agent and tenant. Some of this delay can be attributed to pandemic-related restrictions but most is due to inefficiency and poor service. I can only wonder how a more serious defect would be dealt with. Be aware if you purchase a new Bovis home that you may be exposing yourself to similar atrocious service.
