My prospective tenants have both failed their references because they are newley self employed.Their guarantor has confirmed earnings of over £37000 but has also failed due to affordability.I interviewed the tenants who were honest with me and I really like them.I asked them for a six months bank statement and it shows that the have paid the last six months rent on time. They have been renting the sam property for the last three years. My question to all the experienced landlord would you give them a tenancy? I know its a business but sometimes in life we all need a little help.
