After listening to the wonderful webinar today, I looked at the Prescribed Information I had signed by Whitakers Estate Agent in Hull on 11 09 20 to find that it was signed just by a member of staff. In the light of what I learned today re Northwood Solihull Ltd v Fearn & Ors I have written to the Director asking him to contact me urgently tomorrow to explain exactly how he plans to resolve the issue. The start date of the 6 months tenancy was 09 09 20 so I plan to go to Hull in early March and sign my tenant up on an NRLA tenancy agreement and complete my own new Prescribed Information thereby creating a new 6 month tenancy. The tenants have proved to be an excellent find by Whitakers but of course I need the option of Section 21 should it be needed in the future. I am hoping that by creating this new tenancy this will eliminate the defective PI signed on
  1. 09 20 and I will be covered. I am correct. Many thanks for your help
