What would you do?

Universal Credit Tenant in 2k of arrears.

Paying direct now to me through Alternative Payments arrangement with council.

Council promised arrears would be paid back but only one payment of £20.49 made since September 2020.

Relationship totally broken down w tenant so I feel if anything happens in future where tenant comes off UC, I’ll probably not be paid again.

I have an active S8 valid until October 2021.

Feeling I should evict tenant but shes paying now and with the ban, is it pointless pursuing. 2k arrears is 4months arrears so not the 6 required.

Or Should I pursue the eviction process to be ready to act should I need to.

Any Thoughts?

Thanks
