Section 21 date in box 2
Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

Hi
I want to serve a section 21 notice on a tenant. The tenancy is a periodic tenancy that commenced 4th June 2018. I do not have enough time to get it to her by post to use 3rd June. She has requested that I email it to her today - is that an acceptable form of delivery. If not I will need to use 3rd July
I am unsure if I need to add the 4 months notice to the date for box 2, or use the date of notice actually served
Please advise what date I should use in box 2
