I am considering claiming for legal fees covered under insurance policy to evict tenant . Approx £1500 solicitors fees plus court fees if allowed . Excess £250
Would like to know people's experiences of claiming for this and premium increases after a claim, to know if it is worthwhile. Have been told they will increase for 5 years but they couldn't ( wouldn't)say by how much until a claim is made . Do not qualify for loss of income as this wasn't included on policy. Can anyone comment based on own experience of making a claim. Current policy costs under £200 and have never previously claimed.
Thank you
