Rolling tenancy agreement?

Hi, I have a property that is let through a letting agency. The tenant was served notice to leave back on the 31st Nov 2020. She is also 2 months in arrears. The letting agent has told me that the tenant was supposed to move out last week but that the new property fell through and is still looking for a new property. I am concerned that the tenant is still in my property but with no agreement in place. How do you think I should proceed?
