Hi , I rent out and unfurnished house . When the people moved in they brought their own washing machine . I asked if they would like me to leave my fridge freezer and dishwasher that are free standing . They said yes so I did . The washing machine is now broken and they are asking me if they can call out someone to repair it saying it is £50 call out plus the costs of the parts .
I have already said that the house was rented to them unfurnished and I did not have to supply a washing machine or a fridge freezer so I don’t think I am responsible for the repairs I could simply remove it . How do I legally stand ?
