Universal Credit Direct Payment. How long do UC take to process an application?

I applied for direct payment of UC on 3rd May.
I haven't had an acknowledgement so not sure if the application was successful. Does anyone know if they acknowledge requests?
I've just looked on the online claim page again and it says:
Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Universal Credit
Our priority is to ensure all payments to claimants are made on time. Your application may take longer than usual. There is no need to contact us or make a duplicate application.

How long do claims usually take?
If I don't get a payment soon I will have to give notice to the tenant.
