Hello, I was wondering if members have experience with how to make meters cupboards in communal hallways fire resistant. Often these cupboards are fairly low in height and therefore do not suit traditional size fire doors.

I was hoping someone could offer advice on how best to have these constructed (material types etc) and particularly in how to approach the door and frame.

I was thinking of building a cupboard from 24mm fire rated MDF, but can see issues in incorporating a door and frame.

Many thanks for any suggestions. Mark
