Hi, does anyone undertake maintenance work like painting and basic repairs themselves as the landlord? Our company owns a mixture of freehold and leasehold properties. In relation to freehold we have cover under the Property Owners Insurance of our freehold buildings insurance. However, where leasehold properties are involved, the management company/freeholder sort out cover for the block. I've been researching insurance cover regarding public liability and seem to be struggling so I thought I'd ask what other landlords have in place for leasehold and liability insurance.
