Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

Is it possible to issue multiple section 8 notices? Not multiple terms in one document, rather multiple documents? I have a few different grounds to issue them, one being mandatory but a longer term and the other being discretionary but a shorter term. Can I issue one imminently and the other 1st august when that one specifically becomes shorter?
