I'm currently buying myself out of the contract with my letting agent. I don't see what I'm getting for the £700+ I'm paying them. They took the deposit from my tenant when they were gaining the tenancy of my property. How do I recover the deposit from the agent or transfer the deposit into my name with the deposit holders when the Agency ceases responsibility of acting on my behalf? I am aware that I'm responsible for the deposit upt to 4 times it's value.
