Hello! I manage a basement flat in Notting Hill, which was completed flooded 2 weeks ago during the torrential rain. The tenants were evacuated by the police and have been in temp accommodation since. My question is: Are they still liable to pay rent until the insurance company pays out and they are reimbursed; or do they simply stop paying rent while the property is uninhabitable? Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks
