Hi everyone, a bit of background. This is the first time we're renting out a flat to a couple. Obviously, in the AST it should have both of their names but in terms of referencing, if one of them is more or less the one that pays the rent, can I just reference him/her and do like a simple credit check on the other? What's your advice or is there a law that says that I should reference them both?
