Hi all

This may seem pedantic but needs to be checked.

I have an EICR that states the next electrical inspection date is 'not specified'. I've got EICR's for other property which state the next inspection date as five years time.

I wouldn't be too worried about it but I've given the tenant of the property notice and there's a possibility that I will need to evict so I need all the paperwork to be exact.

The reason I haven't got back to the electrician is that I had a fight getting the EICR off him in the first place and needed the help of NAPIT to make him understand the importance of the right paperwork. In fact I've had a bit of a struggle with all the electricians I've hired to do the EICR. I would've thought that the electrical bodies would update their members on the need to get the paperwork right first time.

Can anyone help on this matter?
