I am a letting agent based in Wales and 2 years ago I provided a let-only service for a Landlord who manages his own properties.
I carried out a credit check and obtained 2 references. The Landlord has had a dispute with the tenant and has requested that I send him all of the paperwork that I did prior to the let and I have said that I will have to ask the tenant for permission to share the info with him. He has said that his solicitor has told him that as he is the Landlord I can provide the information without permission from the tenant. Is this correct?
