Help shape the debate - and win prizes

Sanjeev Shetty 12 March 2026

With the private rented sector set to face a period of reform in both England and Wales, why not play a part in shaping the future of the sector?

Member consultations

Each quarter, all members signed up to receive research emails are invited to complete one of two consultations which are sent each quarter.

The first is Landlord Eye, run by our research team, which focuses on property and tenant management issues and how new policies affect you as a landlord.

The current Landlord Eye is now gathering views on changes to possession following the Renters' Rights Act, anti-social behaviour, and letting to tenants who claim Universal Credit or Local Housing Allowance - with an additional focus on the upcoming Welsh elections.

The second, run by Pegasus Insight, collects data on the rental sector’s financial health and the investment decisions landlords are taking.

Each consultation includes entry to a prize draw to win £250 in gift vouchers. To take part, make sure you are signed up to receive research emails via your membership preferences.

NRLA Landlord Panel

In partnership with Pegasus Insight, we regularly draw on a panel of members to provide key insights on policy, as well as helping develop new products and services.

Panel members get the opportunity to take part in surveys and focus groups , some of which we run and others that are managed externally, for example by    the Government or the  financial services sector. Panel members are also invited to take part in product trials.

Previous panels have helped us develop policy positions and offered feedback on our corporate rebrand.

Current projects

We are now looking for panel members to share insights on:

  • NRLA campaigns work
  • The public perception of landlords

As a panel member you can take part in as many surveys, focus groups and trials as you like. Projects frequently include prize draws or other incentives.
