With major reforms to Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) looming there is no better time to get to grips with how these changes will affect you and your business - and what you need to do to prepare.
While the deadline to hit EPC C is 2030, those of you who plan to do so under the existing EPC system will have until 1st October 2029 to make the grade.
After that EPCs are set to be calculated using a new system, the Home Energy Model, which will use a different set of metrics to come up with your rating.
Our webinar, next Wednesday (8th July), will explain why this 2029 timeline may be even more important than the widely discussed 2030 deadline, what the reforms will mean in practice and the steps you can take now to stay compliant, avoid disruption and protect your investments. The session will also cover the Government's wider plan to require an EPC rating of C by 2030, including:
- Details of a new EPC standard expected in late 2026 likely to affect gas-heated properties
- Exemptions that may apply.
