NRLA CEO wins top industry award
NRLA chief executive Ben Beadle has been awarded silver in the Association Leader of the Year category at the 2025 Association Excellence Awards.
In their comments, judges praised Ben for ‘elevating an entire industry’s voice, influence and reputation’, adding, ‘his ability to navigate complex legislative change, build industry credibility and maintain exceptional member satisfaction while growing the organization demonstrates leadership excellence across every dimension that matters."
Highlighting his ‘exceptional media presence, direct government influence, and commitment to member-first service delivery’ as representative of the ‘gold standard of association leadership’ they conclude that, “Ben has demonstrated a clear vision for where he would like the sector to be, and excellent advocacy work to improve it”, providing the “strong, principled leadership that members need and deserve” in an industry facing unprecedented challenges.”
The award capped a fantastic week for us here at the NRLA, with more than 900 property professionals attending our annual UK Housing Conference in Liverpool, an event dubbed ‘the best yet’.
After accepting the award at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in London Ben said: "I'm absolutely thrilled to receive this award, but, the work we do here at the NRLA is a team effort. “This is testament, not just to my impact on the sector, but the hard work going on across the business, from our policy and public affairs team, lobbying Government on your behalf to our dedicated product team, developing innovative new services such as NRLA Portfolio to help you run your businesses more effectively.
"This has been a challenging year for landlords,, with more change up ahead when the new Renters’ Rights Act comes into force, but rest assured we are committed to supporting you through this transition period and continuing to champion a responsible private rented sector that works for all.”
