NRLA launches new member survey

Sanjeev Shetty 12 June 2024

Leasehold and freehold reform, energy efficiency and possession notices are among the topics up for discussion in our latest member survey.

Members' needs are front and centre when it comes to developing NRLA policy, so it is vital we know what you think, to inform our future campaigns work.

The NRLA Quarter 2 consultation will ask for your thoughts on a range of issues including:

  • the new Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act
  • energy efficiency standards
  • the use of section 21 and section 8 notices and
  • tenancy renewals

In addition to this Landlords with rentals in Wales will be asked about the likely impact of proposed changes to Land Transaction Tax, the Welsh equivalent of stamp duty, on their businesses.

As well as questions on these specific issues, we also want to find our more about your plans for your property business going forward; whether you plan to expand or reduce your portfolio and how confident you feel about the sector.

The survey should take around 30 minutes, and all those who complete it will be entered into a draw to win £250 of shopping vouchers for either John Lewis or Amazon.
