The Big Question: Who is responsible for cleaning at your rental property?

Who is responsible for keeping your rental properties clean? Do you leave it to your tenants, or do you employ a cleaner? Does this depend on the type of rental, and if you do employ a cleaner is this reflected in the rent? 

That's the latest topic to be put under the microscope in the next ‘Big Question’ feature in NRLA members’ magazine, Property.

Each edition the regular feature explores a topical issue related to renting, to find out more about your thoughts, opinions and experiences.

When it comes to cleaning, perhaps you are flexible, dependent on individual tenants’ needs? Or your approach has changed over the years?
