The Big Question: Do you use an agent?

The decision as to whether to use an agent or not is a big one.

Agents offer various different levels of service – from tenant find to full management – and, although there are costs involved, landlords who use them say a good agent can offer peace of mind, particularly if they have other commitments or calls on their time.

Others believe self-management is the only way to be fully in control of their rental homes and who lives there, while at the same time saving money on fees.

Opinions – and experiences – vary hugely across the board and we are asking you what you think as part of our Big Question feature in the Winter edition of members’ magazine Property.

Each edition the regular feature explores a topical issue related to renting, to find out more about your thoughts, opinions and experiences.

If you are interested in contributing please email [email protected], respond via our social media channels @NRLAssociation and the NRLA Facebook page.

To use your comments we will need a short quote outlining your opinions or experiences and a small head and shoulders photograph for use in the magazine.
