TV property guru Sarah Beeny joins NRLA conference line-up
TV icon and property powerhouse Sarah Beeny will be sharing her decades of experience a the NRLA's UK Housing Conference this autumn.
Becoming a household in name presenting Property Ladder in the early 2000s, Sarah has also fronted a string of popular shows including Double Your House for Half the Money, Help! My House is Falling Down, Sarah Beeny’s Restoration Nightmare and, more recently, Sarah Beeny’s New Life in the Country.
Famed for her straight-talking style, the broadcaster property expert will be taking to the stage at the event at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool, for one-on-one fireside chat with NRLA chief executive Ben Beadle.
As well as her television work, Sarah is also a bestselling author and media commentator and has also made a name for herself as an entrepreneur and innovator, launching not only one of the UK’s first dating websites but also an early online estate - both business way ahead of their time and widely influential.
As one of the leading voices in the property sector, she will look back on her journey as an entrepreneur and property developer and share her smart strategies for success when it comes to getting the most from your property business.
She will also reflect on the changes up ahead for the private rented sector - and the challenges and opportunities that will come with them.
We're delighted to add Sarah to the conference line-up, just weeks after we announced award-winning business journalist and presenter Steph McGovern will be hosting the event, on 5th November.
Promising to be bigger and better than ever, the fourth annual conference, sponsored by Total Property, comes at a crucial time for the rental sector, amidst major reforms coming in under the Renters’ Rights Bill, along with plans for new energy efficiency standards and talk of further tax hikes.
Now in its fourth year, our conference has gone from strength to strength since the inaugural event in 2022. Previous speakers have included then-Housing Secretary Michael Gove, former Dragon's Den star James Caan CBE, and Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham.
More big names, including our keynote speaker, will be announced in coming weeks, with a packed programme including everything from the very latest investment advice and market trend data to energy efficiency and innovation, making it an event not to be missed.
