Your Renters' Rights Act training unpacked
The majority of the Renters’ Rights Act comes into force today and there has never been a better time to enrol onto our most popular course.
Thousands of you have already completed our Renters' Rights Act training since it launched last year.
From the abolition of section 21 and the shift to rules around student lets, the course covers every aspect of the changes – and how the way you run your business is changing.
It is available as an eLearning course, where you can study at your own pace, or as an interactive eClassroom session led by one of our expert trainers.
And while the tenancy changes come in on Friday, there is more change to come, with course content constantly updated to make sure you are getting the very latest when it comes to the Government’s plans.

Renters’ Rights deep dives
In addition to the Renters’ Rights course, offering an overview of the legislation as a whole we have also created specialist training courses, for those of you looking for additional knowledge in specific areas. These include:
Ending a Tenancy – this course covers notice periods and statutory requirements under the Act, along with updated procedures for possession and eviction.
Student Lets – Our student lets course gives you a clear understanding of fixed-term student tenancy agreements in line with the Act, and covers your legal obligations around Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) from a student let perspective.
Enforcement – this training goes into depth on increased local authority powers under the Act and related legislation, including inspections, improvement notices, prohibition orders, civil penalties, Rent Repayment Orders, and other enforcement tools.
Pre Tenancy - Our pre-tenancy course covers checks you need to carry out before your tenant moves in and legal documentation in line with the Act, including right to rent checks, data protection responsibilities, deposits, fees, and permitted payments under the Tenant Fees Act.
