Signing agreement without my permission

I have recently re let a property and in writing had the Agents agreement they would not sign any document on my behalf. I also had their agreement I would hold the initial deposit and pay them directly.

Both of these were ignored and later I found out they had made a mistake in the Agreement! And now the inventory is having to be redone as it had a number of important omissions.

It is being sorted now, or so I am told. My tenants moved in on 18 July! Am I entitled to ask for a refund due to this blatant incompetence let alone the legal ramifications of signing a document on my behalf which I had expressly forbidden?
