NRLA picks up top national awards

The NRLA has been named Best Property Education Provider and Best Product for Landlords at this year’s annual Property Reporter Awards.

The awards celebrate the crème de la crème of the property industry, with judges voting NRLA membership the top product on offer for landlords. In their comments they said: ‘Always supporting and keeping landlords abreast of the latest developments, the NRLA deserves recognition for constantly fighting to protect landlords and their rights and being genuinely in touch with their audience.’

The association’s Training Academy also beat off stiff competition to be named winners in the Best Property Education Provider category – for the third year on the trot.

The win comes after the academy trained a record 10,500 landlords last year – introducing new courses and investing in state-of-the-art systems to maximise user experience.

Judges said: ‘The NRLA has done a fantastic job helping and guiding members to become successful landlords, and their record speaks for itself. A truly impressive training offering with flexibility at its core, and have the infrastructure, reach and know-how on delivering accreditation compliance and best practice.’

NRLA chief executive Ben Beadle said: “The NRLA is constantly working to enhance and develop the member offer, so we were delighted to be recognised in this way.

“The Training Academy has seen a record-breaking year, with increasing numbers of landlords taking courses and becoming accredited with the association in the last 12 months; proving their commitment to the provision of quality and compliant rental homes.

“We have also brought about real change through our campaigns work, with vital amendments to key legislation brought about as a direct result of our lobbying.

“We now look forward to building on this success going forwards, and growing the association to welcome more good and dedicated landlords to the NRLA fold.”
