The Big Question: Do you bundle utility bills in with the rent or are your tenants responsible for paying their own bills?

Do you bundle utility bills in with the rent, or perhaps your tenants are responsible for paying their own water, gas and electric bills?

The topic is the latest to come under the microscope in our Big Question feature for NRLA members’ magazine, Property.

Each edition we explore a topical issue related to renting, to find out more about your thoughts, opinions and experiences.

You may choose to bundle utility bills in with the rent, or perhaps you include some, but not all bills.

It may well depend on the type of rental – for example if you let to students perhaps it is easier for all parties if the bills are included.

With utilities bills set to increase over the next 12 months we are asking members, to share their story with us.

We are keen to hear from you to find out a little bit more about what you do and why.

To use your comments, we will need a short quote outlining your opinions or experiences and a small head and shoulders photograph for use in the magazine.

Your answers will be revealed in the next edition of Property magazine.
