Bumper year for our award-winning training academy
Record numbers of you have taken advantage of our award-winning training courses over the last 12 months ahead of the implementation of the Renters’ Rights Act next year.
The number of landlords trained has been increasing year-on-year, with 2025 our best yet. Our eClassroom courses, in particular, have seen a surge in popularity – with numbers up 20% on the 2024 figures.
These courses, combining the convenience of distance learning and the benefits of face-to-face training, take place online, but in real time, allowing you to interact with our expert trainers and other delegates.
This form of training has been especially popular when it comes to the new Renters’ Rights Act; giving you the opportunity to ask questions about the new bill, its implementation and how it is likely to impact you and your business.
In addition to eClassroom, we also offer eLearning options, allowing you to train at a time and place to suit you, as well as face-to-face, in-person courses.
As well as training focussed on the new legislation, other popular courses in 2025 have included our ‘fundamentals’ series, which offers a comprehensive overview of the lettings process for landlords and agents.

Renters’ Rights deep dive
With thousands of you already taking our Renters’ Rights training course, we have developed a series of new in-depth courses focussing on specific elements of the Act and how to navigate them. These include:
- Pre-tenancy: This course goes through essential pre-tenancy checks in detail, as well as outlining all the legal documentation you will need to serve to comply once the Act is in force. To find out more, click here.
- Ending a tenancy: This course covers all the new grounds for possession, legal notice periods and new statutory requirements and procedures to help you navigate the new legislation with confidence. To find out more click here.

Accreditation
This year has also seen a 5% increase in the number of you becoming accredited with the NRLA.
Accreditation is a way for you to demonstrate your knowledge, training, skills and commitment to managing your properties and tenancies in line with best practice. This, in turn, helps you build you reputation – with some local authorities offering licensing discounts for accredited landlords.
