A tenant has reported damp and alledged damage to clothing as a result of mould. We have obtained a specialist damp report which states that the damp issues are caused by condensation. We have installed new automatic extractor fans in the kitchen and bathroom, (the old ones were manual). The report also states that the condensation issue could be improved by opening windows and not drying clothes in the property and the installation of a dehumidifier.

Does the landlord have an obligation to install a dehumidifier or would this be the tenants responsibility?
