During April further to a section 21 being served. A money judgement component of the `possession hearing` was adjourned due to the tenant claiming there were a number of disrepairs that had not been taken care of. The defence content and counter defences were provided to the Courts - all submitted by 17 May 2021.
(Possession Order expired yesterday 31 May and tenant handed over some of the keys to the property to the LL`s letting agent).

Our solicitors have indicated ref the next steps cf disrepair matters ;
<<The required documents have been filed at Court and it is now down to the Court to set the matter down for a Directions Hearing or a Case Management Conference. This will involve further directions being made. This could be witness statement evidence being provided.The required documents have been filed at Court and it is now down to the Court to set the matter down for a Directions Hearing or a Case Management Conference. My questions ;
1) Is it normal that the court just gets round to the next steps when they like , with no indication as to when this approximately may take place ?
2) Who can I contact to try to understand when the next hearing(s) may take place ? the court where the case is likely to be heard can provide some feedback ?

Grateful for your input.
Thank you.
