Course of the Month - Trauma Induced Hoarding for Housing Professionals

This is designed for landlords who may be concerned about tenants who hoard or live with extreme clutter, to help you understand and manage.

Hoarding is far more complex than simply having too much stuff. The factors behind hoarding are multifaceted, often rooted in trauma, mental health conditions, and personal circumstances that require a sensitive, informed approach.

Our specialist trainer Kayley Hyman, founder of Holistic Hoarding, brings extensive expertise in trauma-informed approaches to hoarding situations. With years of experience supporting both individuals affected by hoarding and the professionals who work with them, Kayley will provide comprehensive training that goes beyond basic property management to address the human element of these complex situations.

The course combines practical property management strategies with psychological understanding, ensuring landlords can respond appropriately while maintaining professional boundaries and legal compliance.
