Updated Rent Smart Wales training offered by NRLA

Landlords and letting agents across Wales can now access updated Rent Smart Wales licensing training from the NRLA’s award-winning Training Academy. 

Both of the NRLA’s Rent Smart Wales courses -  for landlords and letting agents - have been given a high assurance rating for the quality of delivery, and have now gone through the lengthy government approval process following updates to reflect the latest legislation changes brought in under the Renting Homes (Wales) Act. 

The courses have also been tweaked to make navigation easier and to improve user interaction.  

All self-managing private landlords with a property in Wales must be registered and licensed with Rent Smart Wales, with strict penalties for those who do not comply. 

The NRLA is a recognised and approved provider of Rent Smart Wales training, which includes an assessment and is a mandatory part of the licensing application.  

Discounts are available for NRLA members.  

Rent Smart Wales Licensing course for landlords 

The NRLA’s Rent Smart Wales licensing course costs £22 for NRLA members and £28 for non-members. It is worth five CPD points.

Rent Smart Wales Licensing course for letting agents 

Agents are required to complete a different Rent Smart Wales course. The NRLA’s Rent Smart Wales licensing course for letting agents costs £45 for NRLA members and £48 for non-members. It is worth five CPD points.
