This is the first Landlord Forum for Lambeth landlords since the pandemic started. It's a chance to re-connect with key housing and lettings team officers and wider colleagues working to support landlords and tenants across the borough.

You'll hear from Lambeth Council colleagues about the up and coming additional HMO licensing scheme due to come into force on December 9th.

You’ll have a chance to discuss issues facing landlords such as how to make properties more energy efficient in light of recent Government announcements.

Agenda

Welcome (back) to NRLA and Lambeth Council landlord forum

Legislative update (Karen Gregory, NRLA London South Rep)

Lambeth Lettings update (Lambeth Council)

Lambeth HMO Licensing update (HMO Licensing Team, Lambeth Council)

Energy efficiency ratings - To meet climate targets, the nation’s entire housing stock will need to be upgraded by 2050. Researchers at LSBU school of Built Environment & Architecture have been working with Lambeth Council to help them plan for the massive task of eliminating carbon emitting fuels and making London's homes warmer and more energy efficient. In this presentation, the research team will talk about how net zero targets might impact London’s landlords, and how the Lambeth’s & the GLA can support them on the journey to net zero. (Pippa Palmer, Sorcha Redmond, Research Team, School of Built Environment & Architecture, LSBU)
