Event description
Whether you are renting to a family or renting to sharers every landlord has an obligation to ensure their property is safe from fire. However, knowing what is required to make a property safe is quite a complex area of the law.
A fire poses significant risks and fire safety should be your priority throughout the year.
There are several important pieces of legislation which can affect your responsibilities and practices in regard to fire safety for your properties. Not all of it applies to every property which can make it difficult to understand exactly what you need to do to ensure you are being responsible about fire safety.
Zoom in for an informative session from Richard who will give an overview of the Fire Regulations, as defined in the Housing Act 2004, and Louise will explain the new legislation effective January 2023
Every landlord has a responsibility has a responsibility to ensure their rental properties are safe for their tenants and visitors find out what these responsibilities are.
Listen in to this informative session and ( bonus) NRLA Accredited landlords will achieve 2 CPD points.
