In this month's regional webinar, local reps Ruth Millington and Lesley Wilkinson, will present the latest legislative update, and all you need to know as a landlord, followed by a question and answers session.

Joining them will be VOA’s Wendy Hearnshaw, Hub Manager - Yorkshire Rent Officer Functions.

VOA Rent Officers have a statutory duty to collect and record residential private market rental data and carry out rental valuations in England. They are responsible for maintaining a register of fair rents setting the maximum rent that can be charged for a ‘regulated tenancy’, advising local authorities of the maximum subsidy level payable for housing benefit claims under the local reference rent system and determining Local Housing Allowance based on private market rent levels, from a database of over 500,000 properties.

Wendy will explain why they do it, how they correlate the information and as a landlord how you can help, as well as answer any questions from the floor.

A webinar not to be missed for landlords!
