2. LEGISLATIVE UPDATE AND WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING AT THE NRLA

3. Roll of the Enviromental Health and Community Protection Team on Rotherham’s PRS 

Rotherham Council’s Environmental Health and Community Protection team 

The team will provide an overview of the Council’s role related to private rented housing, including what constitutes an HMO as well as offering an update on the current selective licensing scheme. 

4. REHOUSING OF HOMELESS CLIENTS  

Rotherham Council’s Homelessness and Housing Migration Team 

Members of the Council’s Homelessness and Housing Migration Team will inform landlords of the Council’s approach towards re-housing homelessness clients and offering advice to landlords when the last option is taking possession of their property. Also, there will be attendance from the Council’s PRS Accommodation Team. 

5. UPDATE ON NATIONAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY SCHEMES 

Rotherham Council’s Domestic Energy Team 

The Council’s Domestic Energy Team will be offering an update regarding the national energy efficiency schemes available to landlords, what is the criteria for accessing the funding and how to apply.
