2. Licensing Scheme Update with Helen Masterson, Head of Private Sector Housing Standards, London Borough of Newham

Helen will provide an update on the first year’s performance of Newham's third licensing scheme.

3. Property Procurement/Recourse with Shezad Khan, Private Rented Sector Solutions Team Leader, from the Homeless and Prevention Advice Service.

4. Introduction to the “How to retrofit guide” with Meghan Kingsley-Walsh, Senior Energy and Sustainability Officer

5. The Importance Of A Good Inventory with Justine Tomlinson from No Letting Go

The inventory provides a vital record of the condition of the property when your tenant moves in. It also shows them that you care about the property and want them to take care of it.  Retaining any of the deposit is virtually impossible without a record of its condition from the start of the contract.  Justine will take us through best practice around inventories and how an inventory clerk can add value.
