Hello,
I have two students applying to rent my property. Their parents are prepared to be their guarantors but their parents live overseas in Belgium. Were they to default on the rent would I have any recourse against a guarantor in an overseas territory? I know we can currently recover debt using the European Small Claims procedure but would this still be the case in the event of a no deal Brexit?

Do you have any suggestions for how I might proceed with them as tenants?
