The NLA sought to robustly challenge Liverpool city Council’s proposal in 2014 for citywide Selective Licencing. However, in contrast at that time, the RLA decided instead to co-regulate and run the councils licensing scheme. We are now in the council’s consultation stage for reintroducing a similar scheme. What is the NRLAs position regarding the council’s current proposals?
