Currently awaiting a hearing for possession / eviction further to a Section 21, with several months of arrears and a court date pushed out to an even later date than expected as of Friday 21st August ! ....... I would be grateful to hear the experiences where their local MP has sought to assist constituents and been successful and to what extent ??
Our local MP was tasked with looking into and redressing the uneven playing field as to Landlord protection vs tenant protection given the facts of a case where for 8 consecutive months not a single penny`s worth of rent has been paid.
The MP in question chose to ignore it would seem, such `tasking` ..... and offered up trying to bring forward the sitting of the courts for possessions....... as we all know, currently this has moved out by another 4 weeks.
Hoping there are some happier experiences at MP level or local council level amongst other members ?
Thank you.
