I currently have a property on the market for sale and have been approached by someone I know know about the possibility of renting it short term. The person is in the process of selling their house (expected completion October / November) but their purchase of another property fell through. A first time buyer is buying their house so they want to go ahead with the sale regardless.

None of the NRLA agreements appears suitable and my estate agent suggested a holiday let type of agreement. The prospective ‘tenant’ knows that, if we find a buyer, they’ll have to move out again quickly (say, one months notice),and are OK with this. Our property has been on the market for two weeks now and we haven’t had any viewings so the proposal seems attractive. Please advise on whether / how this can be done.
