Hi there, I put my house with a tenant in it on the market 3 months ago. At no point did my letting agency or estate agent inform me of the COIVD Act and the fact it would take 6 months to get my tenant to leave. I pay full management fees and naively assumed I would receive good advice from the letting agent. The tenancy has gone to a short term tenancy back in Nov 2019 and I read it that I can give them 2 months notice. I see in the press that the COVID rules have changed again and I might not have to wait 6 months. I own 1 house I am not a property magnate and I need to sell the house for financial reasons. I feel completely stuck and my journey as a 'landlord' has been really negative and now I feel trapped. What can I do? I need my house sold ASAP
Thanks
