I have 4 rental properties, all terraced houses that are not HMO. They all have interlinked smoke and heat alarms and I have recently fitted firedoors according to LACORS regulations. I am thinking of fitting kitchen fireblankets in each house. A fellow landlord I know says that, if fitted, they must be inspected annually. Can this be done by myself as part of my fire risk assessment, or do I need them inspecting by an external company? Can anyone point me to the guidance/regulations that covers fire blankets? Thanks
