I have today received an email from a work coach at the DWP asking for information about one of my tenants, specifically;
- How many people are on the tenancy agreement
- Number of bedrooms in property
- Amount of rent
- How often is it paid

In addition to this they have also requested my details in terms of name and address.

I have never received a request like this before and I am keen not to fall foul of any GDPR regulations with regards to my tenants information even though we are talking about a government body.
Also am I within my rights to ask why they need my personal details as well as asking for the relevant data processing agreement?

I appreciate this may seem a little over-cautious but any advice would be welcomed.

Thanks
