I along with three other leaseholders have put ourselves forward to replace the current directors of the management committee for the estate we own property on due to reasons of mismanagement and lack of transparency on how our maintenance charges are spent all over a number of years. Of course it’s got quite nasty and to date they claim they have racked up nearly 15k in solicitors fees which will need to be paid out of the maintenance charges. My question is can they come after us for the 15k costs that have been incurred?
