Hello

I own a BTL house that I will be intending to sell next year. It was my main residence for 13 years and I have rented it out for 6 years.

My question is , am I allowed to offset the purchasing costs , ie solicitor costs etc against my CGT even though I originally bought it to live in and only let it out later.

Many thanks
