I am doing up my worst ever 2 bed terrace in Ashton-under-Lyne. The bathroom is really tiny and for the first time ever I am contemplating the possibility of loosing the bath tub and having a 90cm x 90cm shower tray which fits nicely into an alcove. So the bathroom would become shower room.
Am I mad?
Am I going to get no interest from tenants with children? Will I devalue the house both for rental income and capital value? The area is poorish. The 2nd bedroom is single and the size is modest - so it has generally let to 1 or 2 occupants...
