When signing an AST lease, with say two joint tenants, is it best to sign one lease and give a photocopy to them, or sign a two identical leases keeping one and give one to them (or doesnâ��t it matter)?

Thinking on, if there are joint tenants does each individual tenant require a copy of the lease or is one between them ok?
