We all know regulations has increases hugely in the leering sector. Why is it that Councils and Housing Associations don’t seem to have to adhere to the same standards, Croydon Council being a perfect example allowing tenants to live in squalid conditions?

Furthermore Councils and Housing Assoc charge higher rents and carry out more evictions yet claim to be of Charitable status.
If anyone has the answer please let me know but as I see it we have two different standards in operation. If a private Landlord had operated like Croydon Council he would have been slapped with an enforcement notice and prosecuted.
